Please just do a lot of research so that you know what to look for and when you ask breeder questions, you will already know the right answer. Don't take excuses for what isn't right and please don't believe that the more you spend the better the puppy. Choppa cost me $500, he had no health defects, an amazing personality and at a year old he was 5 pounds. The price does not always reflect on the puppy. Read in the Breeder Review section to see some of the issues some parents have had with puppies and breeders to get an idea of what you want to look out for.
