I like the softness of the flannel better. However, my girls don't seem to mind which one they are sleeping in. As far as which one washes better, I have only washed mine about 2 times each so they seem to be fine. My girls are pretty pampered so they don't get very dirty.
I honestly think it is personal preference as the pups don't seem to care either way. Lol.
