I am sure your pups love the treats your hubby was feeding them, but there are better more nutritious treats out there. You have to do some research and read the labels, but it's do-able. There are also many folks on this site that DO feed their pets people food only, but in blends and amounts that are perfectly nutritious for the dog. The concern is to make sure the pup is getting the ultimate in nutrients with a balanced diet... JUST like people should! 
You are right to feel that way, and you if you feel strongly about it, you can change what you feed. But make sure you do your research and do it right!  Have fun!! |
Oh yes, I definately know what you mean about the nutrition and they always get the MOST nutritious dog food. But what Im saying is...its "dog food"! And Im just like , "Well, my dogs are people to you know" , lol, and it doesnt smell good like our food. LOL
