Thanks for the great suggestions! I've looked at portable AC units, but want something that can also go in the car to help keep him cooler there as well if I'm going to spend the money. I may get both! I'll have to order a portable one if I go that way, I went all over trying to find one and everywhere is sold out right now! It just got hit really quick this year!

I've been doing the frozen water bottles and that does help - I also have some soft gel cold pack things from my chiropractor that I keep in the freezer and set out for him to lay in. I do have tile in my kitchen, bathrooms, and hallways but Benji likes to stay in my bedroom. I'll try the "cool house" and see how that works!

It's not that hot inside - about 85 in the house in my bedroom at the hottest, since I have the old swamp cooler running most of the house is quite a bit cooler - but he likes to be in the hottest room of the house even though he doesn't handle the heat well, silly boy! I could close it off - but I do like him in there when the bigger dogs get playing so he doesn't get trampled, or when people come over so he doesn't get stepped on.
