Doesn't Mitshibishi make a little single room air conditioner that doesn't even go in the window? I've seen them advertised on television & they look very mininimalist. Either that or another single room A-C might be your only recourse to keep that baby comfortable. How hot is it in your house during the peak heat period? That might determine what you have to do.
