They get tapeworms from ingesting fleas. You will not get tapeworms from him, so don't worry about an appt with your doctor.
You should be able to call your vet for something on Monday. My vet would not make someone make an appt for tapes if they were current on vetting. A stool sample will not always be positive for tapeworms, so I would not worry about that either. Just ask for Drontal or whatever your vet suggests. |
