That is so sad.
One of the girls that works with my mom just moved here from China ten years ago. She was saying that Yorkie sized dogs are thought to be pets there but anything larger was considered food in the area she was in. She also said while you did not have to eat all of it, when cooking chicken every part had to be presented/served.
