My puppy is a Wingold puppy. Tom Becker is the breeder. Extraordinarily knowlegable and well known in NJ. He shows & breeds. He's a member of the local YTCA in NJ too.
So, I have no reason to doubt him.
Thanks for the info about the UKC. I personally think it's inhumane to unnecessarily cut off the tails. From my breeder, there is some history about cutting the tails way back when because of the work the dogs were doing (he explained it to me, I just forget.) But that's not the case anymore. I can't see it really improving the breed.
