Bella lightened as she got older. She was very very dark reddish as a pup. She's very steel blue when grown out now. She definitely went thru the "scraggly" phase and I thought ohhhh boyyyyy haha but that soon passes and her coat is awesome now so I bet your baby's coat will change again soon. Bella stopped changing color at about 3-4 yrs old. If you notice I have a thread of my boy in here too. Diggy
his coat would be absolutely gorgeous if grown out. He is even more blue than Bella but I keep him with a fluffy lil puppy cut. Maybe this winter I'll grow him out.
