With Willow, she is 4 1/2 pounds. I give her two pills to start. Now remember this has to be the Children's Calms Forte. I get mine at the Health Food Store. While other stores may sell Calms Forte, I've never noticed the Children's one.
The Rescue Remedy I order mine online. Just make sure it is not the one with Alcohol.
I myself actually use the Adult Calms Fotre every now and then.
