I realize they are expansive,but if you ever do win e lottery, yes the sides don't squish in on her which is what made me get it. I still like my KB for errands, and will still use it,but like Jamie said I believe there are different bags for different purposes. I take Zoe with me everywhere I go, literally so I will use this one when she has to be in it longer. She is more comfortable in it. It has a nice thick cushion in the bottom and she will have air flow around her because the side don't cave in on her. And while she doesn't hate her KB, I put her in it and she never makes a peep, she has never just hopped in. This one she hopped right in to investigate when I put it on the floor. I think I am going to run an errand today, not because I have to, but because I want to try it
