I did contact this organization to ask if this treatment is available for DLSS. Degenerative Lumbosacral Syndrome; here is the response I received.
I do understand that arthritis can affect the spine but in our experience at Vet-Stem when there is arthritis in the spine there is usually additional issues with the spine so the Vet-Stem Therapy is generally not very effective. So we always want to caution pet owners that if the major issue is located in the spine we do not believe the Vet-Stem therapy will be able to help a significant amount. If the spinal issues are minor and the arthritis is in other joints then the Vet-Stem therapy has the potential to help. That is why we suggest having your vet call in for a consultation to see if we think the Vet-Stem therapy would be helpful . |
Thank you for posting this. It would be wonderful if some day someone's baby could benefit from this. I always like hearing about new treatments and will usually follow the stories to see how well people/animals do with them.
