 My poor Maddie
Maddie Jo hasn't grown out of being car sick...(yet...I still have faith!) and we have a convertible that we take out for a ride in the evening when it cools off. So, tonight I got up from my desk to head for the garage and the girls started to follow me down the hall. I told them 'Mom & dad are going for a ride, we'll be back in a little bit...Maddie Jo, if you still didn't get sick we would take you for a ride with us.' I turned around to find Megan at my feet and Maddie Jo standing back at the end of the hall looking at me with her head and tail down as if to say 'Oh Mom, please don't make me go for a ride'. All I could do was laugh at her, give her a hug and put her on the back of the couch in the front window where they wait for us until we come home.
My poor Maddie...maybe someday we'll be able to go for a ride without a puke bag... |
