Well, I didn't know you could feed them coconut oil until the last time I read a thread on it.
I've always used it topically on the hair. It does build up and look nasty quickly though

I've also used it to keep fly-a-way hairs down. It works best then rubbed in your hands and then run your hands over the coat.
