My Shian, is terrified of storms! When she was little my husband came home and took her out when it was storming badly. Thunder hit and scared her half to
death. Now, four years later, she is still terrified. I have used calming gel from
Petco and it used to work, but not anymore. Plus, the last time I used it, the next day she would not eat nor potty until late in the evening.
What I need is some suggestions of something to give her, the first hint of a storm. She shakes so badly and pants so hard (she drools). Anything short of taking her to the vet for something, I will try first.
