I don't have one, but I've used one. One of my best friends is an infomercial nut and owns almost every as-seen-on-tv type gadget.

It's definately a very slow, tedious process, and it smells like burning hair (which is not real nice). It wasn't painful though, which is a plus in my book as I'm still traumatized by my ONE experience with an epilady in the 80's. I guess it would depend on where you were wanting to use it. NO WAY would I have the patience to do my whole legs with it!

Having used it, I wouldn't buy it for myself. I'd rather shave or wax. If I had small areas, such as face, I'd rather pay for electrolysis.
