When I make French Toast I use eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon for the dip...I toast the bread first so it doesn't get soggy...dip it in the egg mixture and then brown it on the griddle on top of the stove. To serve it I butter each slice and then layer the plate with a piece of FT, an egg cooked over medium, FT and one last egg on top...then it gets covered with maple syrup.
Maybe I should try a different kind of bread or something? I usually just use white or wheat. |
