I purchased two Maltese pups from Loretta Plise in Oakdale, Ca. She had half a dozen Yorkies for sale at the same time that we bought the Malteses. Our puppies ended up being very sick. We spent a lot of money to get them healthy. They are now 4. Our little girl Maltese had to have her back leg knee joint replaced when she was 18 months old. ($$$$) Her joints have defects. We had our little boy Maltese's DNA checked and found that he was only half Maltese. He was also King Charles and Havenese. Our little girl pup is a pure bred, but her hair is so curly that we thought she was a Malti-poo. We love them dearly, but we feel bitter toward Loretta Plise, who only offered us another pup to make things right. Then she wouln't accept our certified mail or answer calls from us. She is a crook!!!
