Tattoo's, on dogs Yes, tatts on dogs not OF dogs, your opinion please, every year when the new lists of most favorite dog goes out ours are right up there on top, no great surprise to us of course, BUT, it makes them a target for theft, even more so than they already are. Now I read somewhere, probably here, about tattooing your dog with his or her male/female symbol with a big slash through it showing that they were neutered. And this MAYBE would help keep them from being stolen for breeding. I have thought of this as I have a tattoo artist who would do this for me even though he thinks I'm crazy, as in crazy dog lady. This is not the kind of thing to be done at the vet but by an artist and only takes a couple of minutes, outline only. Oh, the tatt is about the size of a quarter so it will not "bleed down", size could be adjusted and on his inner thigh. The meds are just the same as you and I would put on our tatts, vaseline type something from the pet dept though cause Sprocket would lick if he could. You know the drill. Thoughts please.
