If you can't find out if a particular food that you want to try is BPA free, the only way is to open up the can. If there is a white lining on the inside of the can, chances are that there would be BPA in the food

I feed mine DVP's Natural Balance grain free and there is no liner, so I feel pretty confident. BPA is used in making plastic, not metal.
