Default On my anniversary 5/24/12 Allergic reaction story.

Amara had an allergic reaction. I almost died. Everything swelled up. Her eyes. Her genitals. Her muzzle. It was terrible. I took her where I always took her to play. In the field above my apartment. But today something was different she came in itching but the grains in her food make her itch. So I was like "boo boo you wanna have an oatmeal bath?" She went and drank her water like normal. And I was hungry so I fixed me something to eat. And when she came to ask for some of my food. I looked at her. My mouth dropped. Her eyes were the size of large strawberries Her ears were on fire and extremely red. Everything on her was red. She had red spots on her belly. It was terrible. I took her to the Emergency clinic. Cost me alot of money. But I'm glad she was ok. They told me to get some children's Benadryl for her to help with swelling. They gave her like a steroid. I can't really remember exactly what she said I was in a panic. But she's doing great. I got some Acana for her to try. Right now We're trying the Pacifica. She went wild for it at first. But now she's like Well having this again for dinner. I'm just glad she's ok. Her passage ways in her nose had started closing up. She would have to open her mouth to breathe. Seems like we couldn't get there fast enough. I'm terrified to let her in the grass though for too long. I'm taking baby steps to see if anything irritates her. And its sad because she loves the grass. I think it was some kind of weed that she ran into. She doesn't play in that field anymore. It had never happened before.
