I think that in the picture on the left the pups face looks darker than in the picture on the right but I'm not sure if this is the lighting in the picture or not? Often when they start to teeth the ears can fall a little so it's possible this is why the ears look different.
I would contact the breeder and ask her why the pup looks so different in the updated picture. You may be able to tell better if you go for a visit again to see the pup for yourself. You will likely recognize the puppies behavior and personality during the visit too.
