My youngest son has a 1st grade teacher that is amazing. In the 16 years I've had kids in school, I've never met or appreciated any of them quite as much as I do her. She and my son have established quite the bond and she's taken so much of her time, energy and love and really helped him this year. I'm eternally grateful to her.
Soooo.... I want to do something extra nice for her. She's a mature lady (Mid 50's?), single (I'm assuming divorced or widowed) and overall just a really neat woman with a great personality and sense of humor. So, if you were selecting a gift for someone like this, what would you select? |
Something personal, like a poem or picture. I always appreciate the handmade, personalized items because I know it took a little more effort to put together.
Maybe check out Shutterfly? They have some super cute stuff you can make with pictures and whatnot.
