Sounds like you are doing great! Just fight the temptation to FEED him more....just keep him going VERY slowly in 1-2 hour increments, with just a tblsp of baby food for the next 24 hours....let his gut rest....tomorrow, you can probably consider upping it to 2 tblsp every 1-2 hours...you are on top of the hydration and the Karo for his sugar level...the Pedialyte will help with his other electrolytes....like a turtle, slow and steady.....and going that slowly, if he starts to vomit again, you need to take him back to the vet....and you will have a pretty good idea that it isnt from over-feeding! |
