One of the things I have learned from both Yorkie Talk and reputable breeders (despite the advice from some vets who generalize WAY too much) is to never get a puppy from a breeder who vaccinates too early.

Lorraine gave you some great advice here, however another breeder says she only vaccinates at 11 weeks and then evaluates at 12 weeks if the pups are ready to leave their mom, she usually sends pups to their forever homes at an average of 14 weeks of age.
