My first Yorkie I ever owned (that survived past 3 months because of horrible breeding issues)was diagnosed with pancreatitis in the early '80s. That was my introduction to Royal Canin. I have used it ever since, and watched it grow and develop to accommodate the nutritional needs/requirements of different breeds, life stages, and specific disease processes. It has served me and all my Yorkies, over all this time, very well, including now, my breeding program. My little QuiSa ( 1977-1992), in spite of her pancreatitis, lived a full and wonderful life, eating RC her entire life and having very few "flare ups" during all that time. I completely understand the enthusiasm for home cooking, not everyone can do this for whatever reasons.... if you personally are in such a position where home cooking is not an option for you, I would just want you to know you CAN rely on Royal Canin L/F Rx to provide everything your Peanut requires, as well as properly and effectively managing his pancreatitis.
