I myself haven't had a checkup in a couple of years..but the babies go once a year for their annual exam and in between as necessary. This past year they have been at least 3 times each for things that have come up in between their annual exams.
My vet requires annual blood work after they are 5 but before that it is optional except for heartworm testing. I wouldn't feel comfortable skipping any annual blood work. |
