Since you don't want to block Sasha off, I really suggest getting an ex pen for the puppy. The best advise I have every gotten about bringing in a new dog is to always let the original dog get the most attention. Greet them first, feed them first, etc. Puppies are used to being in a pack (their litter) anyway, so they are used to waiting their turn. This way the original dog will feel like they are still #1 and not being replaced.
As for potty training, take the puppy out after they wake up from a nap, and about 20 mins after they have eaten or drank water. Of course there are going to be accidents, but just keep an eye. Feed meals at the same time every day so you can know when to expect to take them out.
Good luck!
