We went to the Anna Marie island today and enjoyed the ocean and beach. We caused quite a stir with our 4 Yorkies and Big Lab Girl. Our beach is private and the dogs love running up and down barking at pelicans and sea gulls. (All the birds are safe, no way the dogs could swim out to get them) Anyway the reason for this post, is to share this little story. Our neighbors came over to see the Yorkies. We asked them to sit for awhile and chat. She is 83 and he is 86. He brushed sand off her knee and said, "When I first met Betty she was a bathing beauty who never got wet. She was so prissy, not a hair out of place, lip stick perfect. She told me to, Look but, don't touch. She doesn't say that any more."
Betty snorted and said, "Oh Jim that same ol' story. At this age I would say, Touch all you want, and don't look !" We all roared with real belly laughs.
