I am so very sorry for your loss. What a tragic, unfortunate, circumstance that your vet was not up to date on his pharmaceuticals. I would certainly ask him why you were not given the form to sign, that included the warning signs of drug toxicity. If you had only been made aware of the signs and symptoms of drug toxicity, you would have alerted the vet and Jack could have been saved. How very sad.....We have got to be able to trust our vets to be informed and up to date in their practice...they hold our pets very lives in their hands, and when their knowledge in a particular area is limited or fails, our precious babies will suffer for it.
