If she has a rash or the skin is changing in any way or is she is continuing to itch she may very well have an allergy to the fleas. Animals with flea allergies can suffer terribly from just one flea just walking on their skin. Sometimes a temporary steroid shot from the vet will stop the also allergic reaction and get her back to normal as you get the fleas whipped. |
