Yep, I use a free and clear detergent on all her blankets/bedding-no fabric softener. My husband vacuums regularly-twice a week. We tried the tea tree oil shampoo, but that didn't work for her. Poor baby-we're still trying to get to the bottom of it-ironically, her bottom is part of the problem. I'm doing everything I can to try to alleviate the scratching and scooting. Atopica will probably be the next thing. She took it years ago and I remember that it didn't work for her, but maybe it will be different now with a different food and the thyroid supplement.
