Agree. Smokey and Chloe were adopted a few weeks after their forever family put in their app, bc they were a perfect fit. If you are not a perfect fit for that particular dog, they will not contact you.
In fact, for certain people, being persistent and calling and/or emailing turns them off! It does me for sure. I will know when a family is perfect for my foster when I meet them. Just bc I keep getting emails/calls from someone does not mean they are a better fit. It just means it gets irritating.
