Cry Puppy Coughing...

Hi,

First time posting at this forum
And it's also my first puppy!
I just got a yorkipoo puppy that is nine weeks old.
He has coccidia and is being treated with Albon.
He's only been with me for a week but he's had a rough one.
He is the sweetest, most playful, cute little puppy~
But he developed this coughing/hacking noise on Monday night.
I took him to the vet on Tues morning to get it checked out and to pick up the Albon prescription but the vet said everything sounded fine.
He was only coughing once or twice a day on Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday he started coughing more during the morning and at night. I think it may be kennel cough.
This morning he woke me up at 5AM due to his coughing.
I called emergency services and they said to watch the puppy and to call the vet first thing in the morning and that's what I did.
The vet said that the Albon had antibiotics so to continue giving him that and to see how it goes. She also said that the antibiotics may make him seem worse for a bit and then it should clear up. If he should stop eating and drinking, then I should bring him in.
He was still eating and drinking well last night and this morning so I'm thankful for that. But he did seem a bit more tired. I don't know if it's because he's just sick and he woke up an hour earlier than normal.
I work during the day and can't get home during lunch so he's usually alone during the day (I know many of you will chastise me for keeping a puppy at home alone during the day, but like most of us, I need to work to make a living. Please refrain from commenting on that particular topic. I provide the most loving home I can for this cutie. I would, however, appreciate any help/advice on caring for a puppy with a full-time job Thanks).

I was just wondering if anyone has had a puppy with coccidia and kennel cough at the same time and how long it took for the puppy to recover.
I gave him some honey this morning and it seemed to help a little but is there anything else I can be doing?
I hate to see the little one so uncomfortable.
Help and/or comments please!!
