Rescues are very thorough with their screening process. I'm sure you would provide a great home to this dog, but often rescue dogs have special needs. If they don't feel you fit the special needs of the pup in question, they will not contact you. Don't take it personally if they don't contact you. They are looking out for the best for the dog. When the time is right, you will get one.
