We usually take our ex-pen as well. You never know what could be lurking under the beds, etc. This way, if you have to leave your baby in the room to go to dinner or something, they won't get let out of the room if someone enters it. I try to prevent that anyway by putting the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob
Also, it's a good idea to bring her usual water for her to drink, or use spring water. Just a little change like different water could upset their tummy, or even make them not want to drink just because it smells different
