I used to spend my younger years in the care of a friend of the family, she was practically my 2nd mother. I was really young. She was a manager of a hotel in town and we would always be at the hotel, swimming or playing in the arcade. The owner of the hotal had an office in the center of the hotel and you would barely ever see it. you had to go through other offices to get to it. Getting to the point... one day i saw the most adorable, precious little dog. ( i was an extreme animal lover.. always have been)I ran over excited and she was just so shy, hauled her little butt around the corner and through the offices, down the little hallway and right into the owners office. She had practically a throne in there! THIS IS ALL ABSOLUTLEY 100% true... She was SOOO tiny, and just beautiful. the owner who ill call M.V. found me back there trying to coax her out to come play, haha. He wasnt upset at all, he introduced me to her, her name was L.A. ( which i later came to find stood for Lady Ashley*which is my name, but named after his neice) I spent many days playing with her and wishing for a Yorkie of my own. I WAS IN LOVE. its strange because i was such a tom girl(still am) but i just loved this little fancy, princess of a dog. as time went on and i got older, things changed and i no longer spent time at the hotel. I NEVER forgot her and as soon as i was on my own and financially stable i got a yorkie..my pheobe.

To add to the story which is such a fond memory of mine.. When searching for teh stud for my pheobe i found a lady named diana. She lived right here in town and WAS A BREEDER.. for 17 years!!! ( i had not found her when searching for my first puppy because i was living in south dakota at the time). I started talking with her and come to find out.. SHE WAS THE OWNER OF L.A.!!!!! NO LIE!! her husband is the owner of the hotel. I was so excited!!! AND to add to my excitement, LA was still alive. Along with the excitement of getting to breed pheobe, i got to be REUNITED with LA, the yorkie that started my love for the breed. It was wonderful!! Words cant even express. Sadly, earlier this month she passed. I spent hours on the phone with Diana consoling her. It was a really hard time. I knew Diana fairly well through the breeding process, but to have her choose me to confide in in such a hard time was such a heartwarming experience, i mean, very sad, but it was just very emotional and i couldnt beleive that i got to see her a few more times before she passed.

Ugh, im all teary eyed..

Yorkies are just one of a kind dogs. I cannot begin to explain the connection and devotion. I just love each and every one!
