Kim, my Gina (RIP) and Zoey are just the same as Gizmo. They both were on leases because of the "rabbit" in their blood. I know this is such a hard decision for you to make and I wish I know of a rescue group here in San Diego but I don't. I got my maltese from the "Bichon Furkids Rescue" and they are local. Maybe if you contact them they can refer a reputable yorkie rescue to you. Please PM me if you have any questions that I might be able to help you with.
