I am sorry but given what you have posted about your mom and stepdad my heart breaks for the poor yorkie. They are setting up the dog to be a problem. That they won't potty train and will not show affection because it smells makes me fear for this dogs well being. That is not a life for any living being. I hope you fight for what is right for this dog and rescue it from your parents. Best wishes to you and this little yorkie.
