It sounds like kennel cough. She should be put on antibiotics. It could take 3weeks to 2 months to clear up. This is caught from other dogs usually in parks or with other pups. You can give her plain yogurt 1 tsp. daily this will put the ph back in her system. Don't let her come in contact with other dogs until the cough is gone. My dog just got over this and got it from the park.
I have had yorkies since 1985.
