You can buy most essential oils from a natural food store. I posted on the thread (about using eucalyptus oil for fleas) the recipe that I use. I think I may mix a little of the lemongrass oil to it to help with ticks....although my Mom uses the peppermint oil spray on her morkiepoo who has an extremely thick coat...she lives in a very wooded area and Cali usually gets ticks through the year...My mom found 2 ticks on her with in the past month but, they were just on her hair and they were dead...and she has never had a flea....where it is natural it needs to be applied every day....I usually put it on everyday when we are camping...the pups are out side most of the time...hope this works for you....if you google essential oils that treat fleas and ticks on dogs several other oils will come up...
