OMG!!!! You sound like ME!!!! People don't quite say that; however, they are surprised that Miles is only 9 mos. old. " OHHHHHH, he's a BAYBEEEEEEE....."

I did have someone say at the groomer that he is a BIG yorkie. "How much does he weigh??? At that time he was 6 lbs. so he was within standard then but he has a very long body so it can be deceiving. AKC says under 7 lbs; however they really want the dog to be 4-6 lbs.

That's why poor Miles was probably sent to the rescue. He wasn't going to weigh 2 lbs. as an adult (can't get 8K for him), he has a cute little overbite (also non- standard), and I think there is something funky with his hind legs.

I was at a doggie meetup a few weeks ago and there was another couple there with their dog who was 4.5 mos. much smaller than Miles of course. The husband asks me where did I "GET" him. I just answered very quickly 'a rescue' because I know why he was asking as he was not like their pristine little 12 oz. Yorkie which really shouldn't have been at a doggie meetup as she is too young, not all her shots, and was scared most of the time there anyway. Where did I GET him? - as if I found him on the street somewhere or couldn't afford to buy a Yorkie on my own (people are like that). I should have been smart and asked him where he "got" his. Question caught me off guard...
