Lightbulb A bit of way to help your vet when ur little one is sick

I posted this to another site a long time of go but I have notice a lot of you have had some babies whith health issues. My by trade am a nurse. I started doing what I would tell my patients when they had health changes

I keep a health journal on all my little ones. I keep notes on their food types how much the eat and drink. I note if they are not sleeping well or sleeping to much. I note if they aren't playing. I note if they have poop or pee pee problems

This is really important if they are sick. I write down symptoms. If they are vomiting I try to document how it looks and the time it happens. If they have diarrhea I try to write down how it looks. I also krrp pee pee pads and use them when the little ones are sick. This way I can make sure they have peepee'd. It also allows me to see how much or if it is concentrated or smelly

I also take pictures of poops and vomit to show the vet. I know it sounds gross but it helps the vet. I also video behaviors or noises if my little ones are doing something different. Mollie had a bad cough when she played so I taped it for the vet because rarely will your baby do these things with the at the vet

The other thing I find helpful with my girls, my kids, and myself. I write down questions that I want to ask. That way I don't forget anything
