If she had fleas then she has tape worms for sure. Did the vet give you medication for tape worms? She may very well have other types of worms. I would make sure they do an actual fecal exam at her next check. Tape worms will not always show up because the segments only come out occasionally but the other types of infestation can be found under a microscope. Be honest with the vet about the type of place you got this pup from and the kind of condition she was in. It will help them know what other conditions to look for in this puppy. |
