Default Collapsed Trachea

I have always suspected Ellington of having a damaged trachea (he came to me on a collar, rather than harness) and he has always had a cough.

This past weekend the cough got terrible, so off to the vet we went. I had tried honey to see if it offered any relief.

She agreed that he most probably has a collapsed trachea, but that perhaps there is a tiny bit of kennel cough in there too.

It isn't as bad as it was a few days ago, but its still pretty horrid for the little guy.

I hope it returns to 'normal' where he coughed a few times a day, rather than a few times an hour.

Are there any fellow collapsed trachea yorkies out there?
