When we just had one he always slept with us, than came another and that was ok too. By the time the third one came along and than another it was just too much. It just got to be very uncomfortable even in our king size bed. Both my husband and I were lacking sleep because of the dogs. We love them all very much but, sleep is very important! There were many many times when my DH was coming home from work cranky and tired due to lack of sleep so that was a good time to get the pups out of out bed.
When they were in our bed they just took over, they were up our butts literally. They would sleep right against our backs our butts and on top of our feet, it was terribly uncomfortable! We tell them to get off of the bed, and finally be able to fall asleep. Than go to roll over and there was one up our butt again. So, after five years of sleepless nights we finally got them to stay off of our bed so that we could get a good nights rest.
They have their beds and we have ours!
