make sure you warm the ice up, LOL I know that sounds weird, but if you ever licked an ice cold ice cube and had it stick to your tongue you will understand...... tap water or cool water is fine, just get her wet often when it is hot. Oddly enough even though you think they should be drinking more water when it is hot they often do not, sometimes I just get her mouth wet, or put a little on my hand for her to lick, that's why I use the ice cube she seems to like to lick it or play with it.
