Sorry this is a bad picture taken with my camera phone. But, I made bells and hung them next to the door and taught Loki to ring them when he has to go outside. I can't hear him scratch if I'm in another room and I definately can't see him standing there. I love it because I don't have to worry about him anymore - if I'm upstairs and he runs downstairs I don't need to follow him to see if he needs to go out or just wants a toy from his toybox. He will ring if he needs to go out. He knows what ringing the bells means and he knows we will respond to him so he waits for us rather than giving up and peeing on the floor!
