I have never had a girl Yorkie, but rescued a girl mixed breed and she was exceptionally difficult to train and would run away at any opportunity. All of my boy dogs have been very attached to me and loving. I have only had Max for 4 months now (I got him at 12 weeks too). He is the only Yorkie I have ever had and I will say he is the absolute love of my life!!! You are going to love him to death! Congratulations!!!
