My Logan is 3, and he is also a rescue that was never neutered or housebroken. We used the "puppy umbilical cord" technique (we kept him on a 3-4 foot leash at all times when he was out of his crate) and that pretty much solved the problem. Also- any places that your baby has marked in your house need to be DEEP CLEANED to obliterate the odor. You might not smell it, but your dog CAN! And it will tell him that it's his job to go potty there. Over, and over, and over...

You have to be patient and just let the process play out. He didn't pick up his bad habits overnight, so they won't be broken overnight, either.
